Dr. George Grant, DDS, PhD
Dr. George Grant is a specialist in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. After receiving his Bachelor of Science from the University of Houston, Dr. Grant began his dental education at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1981 and practiced general dentistry for almost ten years.
Dr. Grant returned to the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 1991 to pursue a PhD degree in molecular biology along with completion of a General Practice residency in dentistry. Dr. Grant began his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery while completing his PhD education. He completed his residency in 1998 and received his PhD in 1999.
Dr. Grant joined our group in 1998. He is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, the Southwest Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the Texas Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
